Pre-Fall ALREADY?

i hate to say it but I actually do like Louis Vuitton. Their bags are a little overrated especially since everyone in China and their child has one. BUT, I believe their saving grace other than their incredible worldwide brand equity & cache is their RTW. These are my faves for Pre-Fall, and although I do feel this Mad Men 1940s aesthetic is a little played out - you can't deny how richly lush this color palette is! My next must-have color in my closet: NAVY!!!!

Happy New Year! I've decided to kick off the new year with ZARA :) A trip to this store is much overdue despite my looming but highly anticipated vacation. My credit card probably needs a rest, but how to say no with these fabulous cats on sale????

    

Lately I've been on the hunt for a camel coat..these babies are on sale!

COOPERATIVE POLAR BEAR SWEATER, AVAILABLE @ URBAN OUTFITTERS $49

I do NEED this sweater. Does anyone want to buy it for me for Christmas? It's only $49 and fresh out of Urban Outfitters Holiday Catalog! How cute is it!! Mind you, I do own a polar bear sweater made of angora wool purchased from Korea for the Holiday season last year. But WHO CARES! It's a polar bear!!! :) Happy Holidays!

The holidays are almost here!

It's kinda crazy that we're already almost in December which means that Christmas is basically less than a month away. Which also means Christmas presents need to be bought and my bank account will be depleted. I suppose it also doesn't help that J & I are going on vacation in January too. But you only live once and as my Dad says: "Money is just a piece of paper if you don't use it". So here I am using it! I've tackled most of my Christmas list already, thanks to some early planning and that trip to Woodbury Commons helped.

Today, J & I took a stroll on the famous Fifth Ave to brainstorm ideas for gifts for our loved ones after a hefty but delicious brunch at db modern bistro. We needed the walk after a meal like that which included duck confit croque monsieurs & quiche lorraine. Mmmm...it was so gooood!

I hope you all had an awesome American Thanksgiving weekend because I sure did. I had to work in store on Black Friday (which was utter madness @ 7am mind you!) so I told myself I needed a weekend to do absolutely nothing and I made sure I did just that. Oh, with the exception of getting my hair done :) But that was just a few hours in the chair doing absolutely nothing so that counts! I also ate and ate and ate and ate so its back to the gym this week :)

So this Saturday, J & I took a drive upstate to Woodbury Commons since his folks were visiting. We thought we'd try our hand at some of the early Thanksgiving sales that the outlets might have and despite a slow start, we made away with lotsa good buys and some Christmas presents in tow. Well at least I did :) So here are some things I got for myself as an early Merry Christmas to me:

Granted we only have about a month till the year ends and I probably will be shopping when I'm in Vancouver this Christmas....BUT, no excuses. No more shopping till next year! And even then, I probably will hold out till my vacation in January. So I'm on another shopping ban once again. I'm only allowed to buy Christmas gifts and that's it! The rest of the weekend was spent eating...I will be hitting the gym this weekend. No excuses :P Hope your weekend was as productive as mine!
